Warranty Policy

What's Covered

Parts covered by warranty: frame, fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, brakes (excluding brake pads), lights, crankset, pedals, rims, hubs, freewheel, freewheel case, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, display (excluding damage caused by water). Battery warranty does not include damage caused by power surges, use of third-party chargers, improper maintenance, or other such misuse, normal wear and tear, or water damage (including rust).

Accessories sold on www.likebike.bike are not covered by warranty.

Stolen bicycles are not covered by warranty.

Necessary precautions must be taken to ensure that the bicycle and battery are not exposed to severe weather conditions. Exposure to very wet, hot, or cold environments may void the warranty.

We will replace any parts that are deemed to have been damaged during shipping. Shipping damage must be reported to Likebike electric bicycles within 14 days of the goods arriving. This applies to all products, including bicycles and accessories.

You will not be compensated for the time or effort spent replacing damaged parts.

Please note that your insurance policy may not provide coverage for incidents involving Likebike electric bicycles. To determine if coverage is provided, you should contact your insurance company or agent. Damage from accidents is not covered by this warranty, and Likebike electric bicycles is not responsible for the repair or replacement of damaged bicycles or parts.

Likebike electric bicycles reserves the right to change its warranty policy at any time without notice.

Replacement Procedure

For warranty service, please contact Likebike electric bicycles online support via email at info@Likebike.bike with the following information:

1. Website of purchase
2. Order number
3. Serial number of the bike/scooter
4. Photos/videos of the issue and a brief description

If your warranty claim is approved, we will send you the replacement part(s) with installation instructions. In most cases, we will ask you to install the replacement part(s) yourself. If you are unable to do so, we recommend taking your bike to a local bike shop for assistance. You will be responsible for any labor costs associated with the installation of replacement parts.

For complex issues that cannot be resolved through part replacement, we may ask you to take your bike to a local bike shop for diagnosis and repair. In such cases, we will reimburse you for the reasonable cost of the repair if it is determined to be a warranty issue. Pre-approval of repair costs is required.

What's Not Covered

1. Normal wear and tear, including:
   • Brake pads
   • Tires/tubes
   • Chain
   • Chainrings
   • Freewheel case
   • Crankset
   • Parts corroded due to environmental factors (moisture, heat, etc.)
   • Damage or deterioration to the product's surface treatment, aesthetics, or appearance
   • Frame, fork, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, crankset, pedals, rims, hubs, freewheel, freewheel case, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware. Warranty within 14 days of receiving the goods. Parts damaged during use after 14 days will be charged.
2. Labor costs for part replacement or replacement.
3. Defects or damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the product), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical, or electromechanical stress.
4. Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage not caused by Likebike.
5. Products with serial numbers or barcodes that have been removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible.
6. Product defects or damage caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by Likebike.
7. Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that is not in accordance with the assembly instructions and user manual.
8. Defects or damage caused by external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source.
9. Products used or purchased outside the United States.

Bicycle Performance Disclaimer

The listed bicycle range and top speed are estimates of expected performance (not guaranteed). Performance will vary depending on rider weight, cargo weight, rider/cargo shape (both of which affect aerodynamics), terrain, tire pressure, brake adjustment, throttle vs. PAS usage, pedal power, battery charge level, ambient temperature, and wind conditions. Under some conditions, range and top speed may be obtained that differ from the listed estimates.

Credit Card Chargebacks

If a credit card chargeback is requested for an order, and the customer still has the product from the order, the chargeback, refund, or credit will not be processed until the product is returned to us. If we determine that the customer will keep the product, the warranty may be suspended indefinitely at the sole discretion of Likebike electric bicycles. In most cases, once the chargeback is resolved, the warranty will resume from the original shipping date as described in the warranty, and will not be extended for the time the warranty was suspended.

Liability Disclaimer

Riding any type of bicycle involves inherent risks and dangers that cannot be predicted or avoided. These dangers may result in serious accident, injury, or death to the rider. The rider is responsible for receiving proper education and preparing for safe riding. Once in possession of the bicycle, Likebike electric bicycles strongly encourages and recommends that all customers have each component of the bicycle thoroughly inspected by a certified, reputable bicycle technician to ensure safe operation. Likebike electric bicycles makes no claim or warranty that the brakes, battery, frame, motor, motor controller, display, cables, cable housings, fasteners, grips, fork, stem, derailleur, headset, seat post, seat post clamp, stem clamp, saddle, hub, handlebar, spokes, rim, tire, tube, shifter, freewheel, freewheel case, throttle, kickstand, lights, reflectors, hardware, bottom bracket, or any other part or accessory will be properly secured and adjusted upon arrival. Thoroughly inspect your bicycle before each ride to ensure everything is properly secured and adjusted.

Under no circumstances shall Likebike electric bicycles be liable for any damage resulting from damaged, defective, or improperly secured parts. This includes but is not limited to damage to personal property, injury to person, or death.

What If My Bike Is Stolen?

Unfortunately, we regret that stolen bicycles are not covered under warranty. We recommend investing in a quality lock to protect your bike when you're not riding it.

Here are some suggestions to help avoid potential theft:

1. Record your bicycle's serial number, typically located on the bottom of the frame under the bottom bracket or on the head tube.
2. Register your bicycle with your local police department.
